Eurolab Supports the Future of E-Mobility with Advanced Battery Safety and Performance Testing
Eurolab is proud to announce the official launch of its Dedicated Battery Testing Program for Electric Vehicles (EVs)—a comprehensive testing initiative developed to meet the increasing demands of the rapidly growing e-mobility industry. This new program is designed to ensure safety, durability, compliance, and performance of battery systems used in electric vehicles and hybrid transportation technologies.
As the automotive industry shifts toward electrification, ensuring the reliability and safety of high-voltage battery systems has become a top priority. In response, Eurolab’s newly launched program includes an expanded portfolio of testing capabilities, aligned with international standards and regulatory frameworks such as UN 38.3, IEC 62660, ISO 12405, SAE J2464, and ECE R100.
Electrical Performance Testing (capacity, energy density, efficiency)
Thermal and Environmental Testing (thermal shock, humidity, temperature cycling)
Mechanical Testing (vibration, shock, drop, crush, penetration)
Abuse Testing (overcharge, short circuit, thermal runaway, fire resistance)
Life Cycle and Endurance Testing
Battery Management System (BMS) Functionality Verification
Transport and Packaging Compliance (UN 38.3)
“With this program, our goal is to support OEMs, battery manufacturers, and component suppliers in delivering safer, longer-lasting, and high-performing energy storage systems,” said [Name], Head of EV Testing Division at Eurolab. “We provide not just test results, but actionable insights that accelerate innovation and ensure global compliance.”
Eurolab’s battery testing infrastructure includes state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with specialized chambers, high-power test benches, and advanced monitoring systems that simulate real-world operating conditions. These facilities enable both cell-level and pack-level testing under extreme environmental and usage scenarios.
The launch of this program comes at a time when electric mobility is expanding rapidly, and governments worldwide are tightening safety regulations for lithium-ion battery systems. Eurolab’s technical expertise and accredited laboratories provide manufacturers with the confidence and data they need to meet these evolving requirements—while shortening time-to-market and reducing product risk.
By investing in advanced EV battery testing capabilities, Eurolab reinforces its role as a strategic partner in the global transition to sustainable transportation.
